What happens if my horse doesn’t run?

This depends on the type of bet you placed.

Antepost bets:

• If you placed your bet in advance (weeks or months before the race), your stake is usually lost if the horse doesn’t run.

Non-Runner Money Back markets:

• Cash stakes are refunded on single bets
• Your selection is voided in multiples

Why hasn’t my bet settled yet?

Bets are settled once the official race result is confirmed.

During busy events like the Grand National, this can take a little longer due to high volumes.

What you need to know:

• Your bet will settle automatically
• Your funds are safe
• There’s no need to contact us

Can I Cash Out my Grand National bet?

Cash Out may be available, depending on your bet.

It depends on:

• The market
• The timing
• Live event conditions

Cash Out isn’t available on some bets, including:

• Each-Way bets
• Boosted bets
• Bet Builder

Why did my payout change?

This is usually due to a Rule 4 deduction.

Rule 4 applies when a horse is withdrawn after betting has started.

What this means?

• Your winnings may be reduced
• Your original stake is not affected
• The adjustment is applied automatically

GRAND NATIONAL QUEUEING SYSTEM

Why am I seeing a queue?

After the Grand National finishes, lots of customers try to log in at the same time.

To keep the site stable and working smoothly, we temporarily place customers in a queue before they can access their account.

When does the queue start?

The queue is switched on shortly after the race begins.

If you’re already on the site or using one of our apps when this happens, you’ll usually be able to continue without interruption.

How long will I be in the queue?

In previous years, the queue has been active for around 30 to 45 minutes.

Your wait time will usually be shorter than this, as customers join and move through the queue continuously.

Why do you use a queue?

The queue helps us:

• Keep the site running smoothly during very busy periods
• Make sure everyone gets fair access
• Reduce the risk of errors or delays
• What if I was already logged in?

If you were already on the site or using our app before the queue started, you should be able to continue without joining it.

NON-RUNNERS AND BALLOTED OUT LIST

An updated list will be shared 48 hours before the race.

What this means for your bet:

• Horses on the “Balloted Out” list will be void in Non-Runner Money Back races
• If reserve horses don’t take part, they’ll be classed as balloted out
• Bets on horses not included on the Balloted Out list will be treated as non-runners and settled as losing bets
