Unsure how to use or where to find your free bet?
This is your guide on everything free bets, so you won't miss a bet!
What are William Hill's free bet rules?
- Free bets can be spent on bets as per promotional Terms and Conditions.
- Free bet tokens are non-refundable.
- Free Bet stake not included in any winnings.
- The Estimated Back on the Bet Slip and the Bet Receipt indicate Backs with stake.
- A free bet token cannot be partially redeemed.
- If you attempt to place a bet for lesser total stake than the value of your free bet token, you will not receive any further free bet tokens.
- Free Bet Tokens are valid for 4 days unless otherwise stated in the Expiry section within the 'Free Bet & Bonus' details of 'My Account'.
- Free bets cannot be redeemed on any other online product (Poker, Casino, Vegas, Live Casino, Bingo, Scratchcards, Games).
- Redeemed free bets will not qualify for any future free bets. Qualifying bets must be placed from the customer funded balance.
- Redeemed free bets with value of £1 or more will count toward qualification to view streamed events.
- Cash Out may be affected if your bet triggers a free bet promotion. See individual promotional terms for details.
- Cash Out will be available for bets placed using a free bet (minus the value of the initial free bet).

To make it easier for you to find your free bet, we've now made it accessible in the 'Promotions' option/tab. You can check it here:

Once in the promotion page, you can find your all your free bets and Winnings Boosts on the top of the page under 'Your Exclusive Rewards'.
Click on select bet to apply your free bet based on the terms and conditions of your winning offer.
As shown in the image below, you can use your free bet as mentioned either on any sport or on a specific market (e.g. Horse Racing).
How to use it?
You can only use your free bet as stated in the winning offer.
In this example, your free bet is only applicable to horse racing events (except specials and future races).
Step 1: Go to any horse racing event (excludes specials and future races) in our betting page.
Step 2: Choose a winner.
Step 3: Click on "Free Bets, Boosts, and more" to use it.
Step 4: You'll now see that your free bet is applied.
Step 5: Place your bet to confirm.
