SINGLE
How to place a single bet?
STEP 1: Add your selection to the bet slip by clicking on the odds, which will then change to a dark blue colour.
The number of selections currently on your bet slip will show in red.
(The below image shows the mobile and app view, with the bet slip icon at the bottom of the screen. On desktop, the bet slip is on the right side of the screen):
STEP 2: Click on your bet slip and your selection will show (see below image).
If you want to remove it, click on the 'X' next to it.
STEP 3: EW: if each way betting is available, an EW box will show alongside the place terms.
Tick the box if you want to bet each way.
STEP 4: SP: for horse racing and greyhounds, tick the box if you want to take SP ('Starting Price', i.e. the odds at the start of the race).
STEP 5: Enter your stake and click 'Place Bet':
STEP 6: You'll see a 'Bets placed' confirmation on screen.
MULTIPLES
How to place a multiple bet?
STEP 1: To add a selection to your bet slip just click on the odds. On desktop, the bet slip will then expand:
STEP 2: On mobile/app, it'll expand a little (in case you want to add more selections).
To expand it fully, click on the stake box or the 'Show Bet slip' button:
STEP 3. The default view is 'Quick Bet' view.
Here, you can quickly place a single bet, or if you have more than one selection you can quickly place a straight line multi (so a double if you have 2 selections, a treble if you have 3 selections, etc):
STEP 4. To place singles on multiple selections, or to place complex multis, click on 'All Bets'. In 'All Bets' view, singles will show at the top, followed by the other possible multiples (e.g. doubles, trebles, trixie, etc). The number of bets in each bet type is also shown:
STEP 5: To place your selected bet(s), click on the stake box and enter your stake(s).
TIP: on mobile/app, the keypad has a 'last bet' button which enters the same stake as your last bet, to save you entering it again.
STEP 6: Click the 'Place Bet' button at the bottom to place all your selected bets in one go:
STEP 7: Your 'Bet Placed' receipt will appear on screen (see below image).
STEP 8: You can click on 'View Selections' to view full details of your bet, and you can also click on 'Re-use these selections' if you'd like to keep them on your bet slip.
- There's also an option to get live alerts on your events (score updates, penalties, red cards, time updates, etc) - just slide the slider to activate it.
- If your bet is a multiple, you'll get the option to activate it for each match/event:
What's the minimum bet for multiples?
- The minimum bet (unit stake) is:
- 3p (or your currency equivalent) for singles, doubles, trebles and multiple bets
- 1p (or your currency equivalent) for accumulators with 4 or more selections
FORECAST/TRICAST
How to place a Forecast bet?
- A forecast bet is one where you predict first and second place in a race or event.
- For details of the sources used for forecast dividends, and additional rules relating to forecast betting please see our Rules for Horse Racing and Greyhounds.
- To place a forecast bet, select your race from our meeting lists then add your 1st and your 2nd selections.
- The bet slip now offers a forecast section. Here are your selections grouped by race.
- To change their finishing order, use the arrows. Then check the new order.
- Lastly just click on the bet name, enter your stake and click 'Place Bet' to confirm your bet.
TRICAST
- A tricast bet is one where you predict the first, second and third place in a race or event.
- Tricast betting is generally offered in handicap races of 8 or more runners, where full race by race results are announced by SIS and from time to time, in certain other races providing the result and return are announced by SIS.
- To place a tricast bet, select your race from our meeting lists then add your 1st, 2nd and 3rd selections.
- The bet slip now offers a tricast section. Here are your selections grouped by race.
- To change their finishing order, use the arrows. Then check the new order.
- Lastly just click on the bet name, enter your stake and click 'Place Bet' to confirm your bet.
