Q: Is BOG only available for single bets?
A: No - the offer applies to both your single and multiple bets placed on qualifying races after 8 AM on the day of race.
If your multiple bet contains some BOG races, prices in those races will be honoured at either the price you take or the SP (whichever is greater).
Q: Is BOG offered to all customers?
A: BOG is available via invite only. Invited customers must opt in to receive BOG.

General Guidelines
- If you've been informed of promotion restrictions by William Hill, this promotion won't be available to you.
- Available from 8 AM on the day of the race until the off. Bets placed before will be settled at the price taken, or at SP if no price has been taken (effective since 08 January 2025).
- Available on the 'Win' market on all UK and Irish horse racing.
- Example: If you back your selection taking an Early Price of 4/1 and the SP returns at 5/1, you'll get the bigger price of 5/1. If the SP returns at 3/1 you'll still get paid at 4/1.
- In the case of a non-runner and prices reverting to SP, then Best Odds Guaranteed don't apply. Player/payment method/country restrictions apply.
- The maximum benefit for Best Odds Guaranteed is capped at £25,000 per customer per day across all applicable channels.
- William Hill reserve the right to withhold, restrict or cancel this promotion from individual customers/account holders at its reasonable discretion and with prior notice.
Terms and Conditions
Significant Conditions
- The promotion runs from 00:01 (UK time) on Wednesday 8th January 2025 until cancelled or withdrawn by William Hill (the “promotion period”).
- To qualify, customers must have opted in via the “Best Odds Guaranteed – Opt In” feature, located within individual race cards of UK & Irish horse races on the Horse Racing homepage of the William Hill website (williamhill.com) or iOS and Android mobile apps.
- Once a customer has successfully opted into Best Odds Guaranteed, the promotion will apply indefinitely unless or until the promotion is cancelled or revoked by William Hill in accordance with these terms and conditions.
- Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) will be available on bets placed from 08:00 (UK time) on the day of the race until “the off” on all UK & Irish Horse Races (and between 8 May – 14 June 2025 only, all UK Greyhound Derby 2025 race) bets placed before 08:00 (UK time) will be settled at the price taken, or at SP if no price has been taken.
- Promotion available on win or each way singles and multiples on the "win" market for all UK & Irish Horse Racing (and between 8 May – 14 June 2025 only, all UK Greyhound Derby 2025 races).
- William Hill reserves the right to remove a customer's opt-in status and exclude them from the promotion if:
- William Hill identifies that the customer has breached these terms and conditions;
- William Hill detects suspicious betting behaviours or activity on the customer’s account;
- the customer's account status has changed since they opted into the promotion (for example, if the customer has self-excluded, or restrictions have been applied to the customer’s account since they opted into the promotion); or
- The customer is no longer resident in an eligible jurisdiction.
- In such circumstances, William Hill will provide reasonable written notice of its decision to exclude the customer from the promotion, and the exclusion will take effect from the date specified in the relevant notice.
- A daily cap of £/€25,000 applies to the additional benefit received from Best Odds Guaranteed per customer, per calendar day (00:00 to 23:59 UK time) (the “Daily Cap”).
- The Daily Cap:
- only applies to the extra benefit received when the Starting Price (SP) is higher than the price originally taken (For example: If you take odds of 4/1 and the SP is 6/1, the 'additional benefit' is the difference between the winnings at these two prices. Your original winnings at 4/1 do not contribute towards this cap); and
- is calculated by:
i. adding together all additional benefits from higher SPs across your winning qualifying bets in a single day; and
ii. stopping additional benefit payments once the £/€25,000 daily limit is reached.
- If the total additional benefit from higher Starting Prices would exceed £/€25,000 in a single calendar day, then the payment will be capped at £/€25,000. Standard winnings from original odds taken will be paid in full and are not subject to the Daily Cap.
- All winnings will automatically be credited to your account once the qualifying bet has settled. Any additional benefit received under this promotion will be marked in the “Settled bets” section of your online account and will accumulate up to a limit of £/€25,000 per calendar day.
- The promotion is only available to UK & Irish resident customers who opt into Best Odds Guaranteed within the promotion period and place a bet on a promotion market online using the William Hill website (williamhill.com) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app. This promotion is not available in our shops or through our telebetting service.
- Best Odds Guaranteed worked example: If you back your selection taking a price of 4/1 and the SP returns at 5/1, you'll get the bigger price of 5/1. If the SP returns at 3/1 you'll still get paid at 4/1.
Additional Promotion terms

Where a Winnings Boost has been applied, returns will be the greater of (i) the price the bet was struck at including the Winnings Boost; and (ii) the Starting Price (with no Winnings Boost applied).
General Terms and Conditions

We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:
a. using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting);
b. sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
c. colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
d. taking part in a promotion that is not available in the country you live in;
e. using more than one account per household or per IP address;
f. taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
g. purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.

If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:
a. void any bets funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
b. remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.

William Hill reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (i) where you have breached these terms and conditions; or (ii) at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:
a. receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets.
b. place the remaining qualifying bets required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or
c. materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the promotion.
- Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, you can withdraw funds from your main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
- You may not participate in the promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any free bets) if you have previously been informed by William Hill that you are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the William Hill website, the William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app or in William Hill shops.
- William Hill has the right to refuse or withhold free bets (or any winnings from free bets) in the event of funds you have wagered being cancelled or denied by any payment service.

a. without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or

- We can also award an equivalent bonus/offer to the one referred to in this promotion.
- We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
