What's a Time Out and How to Set One?

A Time Out lets you take a break from betting with us.

What do I need to know?

• Gaming can be harmful if it is not controlled, and a Time Out lets you take a break from betting with us.
• You can use the Time Out tool to set a Time Out of up to 42 days if you're a UK customer or 30 days if you're a non-UK customer.
• Taking a Time Out means you won't have access to your account for a selected period, during which you'll also be unable to deposit, withdraw or play.
• For UK customers, you can choose from four (4) durations:
  • 24 hours
  • One (1) week
  • One (1) month
  • Such other period as the customer may reasonably request, up to a maximum of 42 days.
• If you wish to request a Time Out for a longer period please contact Customer Services.
• UK residents can request up to a maximum of 42 days and non-UK residents can request up to a maximum of six (6) months.
• Open bets will remain active and balances remain on your account.
• You may wish to withdraw funds from your account before starting your Time Out.
• If you wish to withdraw funds during your Time Out, you'll need to contact Customer Services.
• Within 48 hours of starting your Time Out, we'll remove you from our marketing distribution lists for the duration of your Time Out.
• We strongly recommend that if you request a Time Out, you also uninstall any mobile gambling apps, and request a parallel Time Out from any gambling accounts you have with other betting companies.
• When your Time Out ends, your account will automatically re-open and you'll be able to login.

How do I request a Time Out on the Sportsbook website?

1. Login to your account and click on the balance icon at the top of the screen.
2. In the dropdown menu, click on ‘Safer Gambling’.
3. Click on 'Time Out'.
4. Choose your Time Out duration from the available options.
5. Enter your password.
6. Click on 'Confirm - I want to start a Time Out'.
7. Click on 'Confirm and start my Time Out'.
8. You'll see a confirmation on screen.

How do I request a Time Out on the Gaming sites or App?

1. Login to your account and click on the balance icon at the top of the screen.
2. In the dropdown menu, click on ‘Gambling Controls’/‘Account Controls’.
3. Click on 'Gambling Controls'.
4. Choose your Time Out duration from the available options.
5. Enter your password.
6. Click on 'Confirm - I want to start a Time Out'.
7. Click on 'Confirm and start my Time Out'.
8. You'll see a confirmation on screen.
